About lessons
All my lessons are conducted one-on-one, either in person or online. For in-person sessions, I teach on my piano in a dedicated teaching room in my home. Parents are welcome to attend on special occasions or when there is a specific need. I enjoy working with students who have neurodiverse or physical conditions, it’s incredibly rewarding to witness their musicianship flourish.
We set both short-term and long-term goals, which might include recording, tackling piece challenges, studying a composer, learning new techniques, playing favorite songs, composing, or learning chords. While there are opportunities to perform or sit exams, these decisions are made collaboratively when setting goals.
Participation in performances is always voluntary.
To develop their skills effectively, every pianist should have access to an instrument at home for regular practice between lessons. Mastering an instrument takes time and involves numerous cognitive functions.
